Membership to the New Forest Tractor & Engine Club provides access to many events and activities which the club support or organise throughout the year.

The new membership subscriptions are shown adjacent. These have increased from the previous year as a result of increased costs for the meeting hall, increase contribution to the national body, postage and administation costs.

Whilst the club commitee are commited to keeping costs to a minimum, The increase is essential to maintain the clubs viable. The increase in subscription has formally been agreed by the club commitee.


In addition to the local club membership you will also be affilliated to the National Vintage Tractor & Engine Club (NVTEC).

This brings with it further benefits of support with, insurance provision, credibility of information from a central recognised organisation and a quarterly magazine.



BENEFITS



The membership year runs from 1st January to the 31 December.

Included in the membership fee is public & products Liability Insurance which covers up to £5,000,000 for any one incident in relation to public liability and £5,000,000 in any period of insurance for products liability.



A free quarterly colour gloss magazine called "Vaporising" is also sent to all members by the NVTEC. This contains useful information such as other clubs contacts, their events & dates along with feature articles, service and product adverts.

The NVTEC interprets for you and the New Forest Tractor & Engine Club changes of central government legislation in relation to taxation for vintage and agricultural vehicles, Fuel duties and the interpretation of information from DVLA.
